Ses recherches portent principalement sur la politique \u00e9trang\u00e8re des \u00c9tats d\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine, le r\u00e9gionalisme et l\u2019int\u00e9gration en Am\u00e9rique latine (y compris le fonctionnement de l\u2019OEA, du MERCOSUR, de l\u2019UNASUR, de la CELAC et d\u2019autres organismes r\u00e9gionaux), la politique int\u00e9rieure \u00e9quatorienne et le conflit et le processus de paix en Colombie.
