Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (2016-2021), puis, plus r\u00e9cemment, en tant que conseill\u00e8re en politique strat\u00e9gique au Stanford Center on China's Economy and Institutions (SCCEI) (2021-2024). \u00c0 Stanford, son r\u00f4le consistait non seulement \u00e0 faire avancer les projets de recherche sur la Chine contemporaine, mais aussi \u00e0 convoquer des leaders d'opinion mondiaux et \u00e0 \u00ab traduire \u00bb des id\u00e9es complexes en un contenu accessible \u00e0 un public \u00e0 la fois sophistiqu\u00e9 et profane. Dans son dernier poste au SCCEI, elle a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9veloppement et le lancement de l'initiative phare du centre, SCCEI China Briefs, qui communique des recherches universitaires \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 de donn\u00e9es sur la Chine contemporaine aux d\u00e9cideurs aux plus hauts niveaux du gouvernement et des entreprises.\r\n\r\n\r\nJennifer Choo est titulaire d'un doctorat du d\u00e9partement de sociologie de l'Universit\u00e9 de Californie \u00e0 Berkeley et d'un doctorat en droit de la Stanford Law School. Elle a plus de 25 ans d'exp\u00e9rience sur le terrain et aux \u00c9tats-Unis en Chine et dans l'ensemble de l'Asie, o\u00f9 elle a men\u00e9 des recherches, \u00e9tabli des partenariats et r\u00e9uni des leaders d'opinion internationaux.\r\n\r\n\r\nAvant d'obtenir son doctorat, elle a travaill\u00e9 au China Law Center (aujourd'hui Paul Tsai China Center) de la Yale Law School, o\u00f9 elle a collabor\u00e9 \u00e0 des programmes sur l'\u00c9tat de droit avec diverses institutions chinoises. C'est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une bourse individuelle de la Fondation Ford qu'elle s'est rendue pour la premi\u00e8re fois en Chine en 1998 pour travailler sur des initiatives relatives \u00e0 l'\u00c9tat de droit. Elle est laur\u00e9ate de la National Science Foundation Fellowship et du Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program.
