Le livre se concentre sur le processus de cr\u00e9ation et d'acquisition de la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 dans le cadre des grandes transformations des XIXe et XXe si\u00e8cles et examine la mani\u00e8re dont les transferts d'actifs \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle ont \u00e9t\u00e9 une force vitale dans l'histoire politique et \u00e9conomique des d\u00e9mocraties
