Nitze School of Advanced International Studies de l'universit\u00e9 Johns Hopkins (1997-2007). Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 chercheur invit\u00e9 au All Souls College d'Oxford et \u00e0 l'Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2010-2011).\r\n\r\nLe principal domaine de travail de Branko est l'in\u00e9galit\u00e9 des revenus, dans les pays individuels et au niveau mondial, y compris dans les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s pr\u00e9industrielles. Son livre Global Inequality (2016), a re\u00e7u le prix Bruno Kreisky du meilleur livre politique de 2016, et le prix Hans Matth\u00f6fer en 2018, et a \u00e9t\u00e9 traduit en seize langues. Il traite des effets \u00e9conomiques et politiques de la mondialisation et introduit le concept de \"vagues de Kuznets\" successives d'in\u00e9galit\u00e9. \r\n\r\nEn mars 2018, Branko a re\u00e7u (conjointement avec Mariana Mazzucato) le prix Leontief 2018 pour l'avancement des fronti\u00e8res de la connaissance \u00e9conomique. Son nouveau livre Capitalism, Alone a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 en septembre 2019.
