Paris. Du 19 mars au 30 juin 2018 se tient le d\u00e9bat public sur la programmation pluriannuelle de l\u2019\u00e9nergie (PPE). C\u2019est le moment que choisit l\u2019association de consommateurs \u00ab UFC-Que choisir \u00bb pour accuser EDF de sous-utiliser ses centrales nucl\u00e9aires lorsque les prix du march\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique de gros baissent.<\/em> L\u2019association, dans une enqu\u00eate publi\u00e9e le 5 avril, assure que ces pratiques ont \u00a0cours depuis 2012. EDF userait alors de moyens de productions plus co\u00fbteux (centrales \u00e0 gaz, fioul, charbon) faisant remonter les prix du march\u00e9. <\/span><\/p>\n

Le surco\u00fbt pour les consommateurs particuliers atteindrait 2,4 milliards d\u2019euros sur la p\u00e9riode 2012-2016. Selon l\u2019association, le \u00ab quasi-monopole en amont permet \u00e0 EDF une exploitation de ses capacit\u00e9s de production, notamment nucl\u00e9aires, contraire aux int\u00e9r\u00eats des consommateurs. \u00bb. EDF produit plus de 86 % de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son monopole sur le parc nucl\u00e9aire. EDF conteste les accusations d\u2019UFC-Que choisir dans un communiqu\u00e9 d\u00e9clarant que l\u2019association s\u2019appuie \u00ab sur un raisonnement \u00e9conomique erron\u00e9 qui ne tient pas compte de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 de gros, march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en interconnect\u00e9 bas\u00e9 sur la rencontre de l’offre et de la demande. \u00bb. Le communiqu\u00e9 affirme qu\u2019EDF \u00ab optimise \u00e0 tout moment l\u2019utilisation de son parc de production \u00bb et \u00ab agit sous la surveillance permanente du r\u00e9gulateur de l\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00bb.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  • Le d\u00e9bat public sur la PPE se poursuit jusqu\u2019au 30 juin 2018, et l\u2019UFC-Que Choisir souhaite que les pouvoirs publics profitent de l\u2019occasion pour se saisir de la question. De plus, de potentielles poursuites judiciaires sont \u00e0 suivre puisque selon le communiqu\u00e9 de l\u2019entreprise, \u00ab En cons\u00e9quence, et eu \u00e9gard \u00e0 la gravit\u00e9 des propos tenus, EDF se r\u00e9serve le droit d\u2019intenter toute action devant les tribunaux \u00bb.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
