Le 24 mai 2018, c\u2019est en pr\u00e9sence des pr\u00e9sidents fran\u00e7ais et russe que le PDG de Total a sign\u00e9 avec celui de Novatek un accord pour participer \u00e0 hauteur de 10&#160;% dans nouveau projet g\u00e9ant de gaz naturel liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9 (GNL) du groupe russe dans p\u00e9ninsule de Gydan (<strong>1<\/strong>).  La participation de Total dans ce projet s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8vera au total \u00e0 21,5&#160;% (<strong>2<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La valeur du projet nomm\u00e9 \u00ab&#160;Arctic LNG 2&#160;\u00bb serait de 2,5 milliards de dollars (<strong>1<\/strong>). Le PDG de Total a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 se r\u00e9jouir de la participation du groupe fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 ce projet de classe mondiale, qui met \u00e0 profit l\u2019exp\u00e9rience acquise lors de la r\u00e9ussite du premier m\u00e9gaprojet gazier \u00ab&#160;Yamal GNL&#160;\u00bb d\u00e9marr\u00e9 en d\u00e9cembre 2017 (<strong>2<\/strong>). Toujours dans la volont\u00e9 de valoriser les immenses ressources de l\u2019Arctique russe, \u00ab&#160;Yamal GNL 2&#160;\u00bb sera mis en service fin 2023 avec une capacit\u00e9 de production de 19,8 millions de tonnes par an, soit 535 000 barils \u00e9quivalent p\u00e9trole par jour (<strong>2<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si \u00ab&#160;Yamal GNL 2&#160;\u00bb repr\u00e9sente une gigantesque capacit\u00e9 de production pour alimenter l\u2019Europe, le but est surtout de viser les march\u00e9s asiatiques en forte croissance, gr\u00e2ce au transport assur\u00e9 par une flotte de m\u00e9thaniers brise-glace qui empruntera la route maritime du Nord (<strong>2<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Perspectives&#160;:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul
