publi\u00e9 lundi 20 juillet, l\u2019agence maritime Norton Lilly a annonc\u00e9 que l\u2019Autorit\u00e9 du canal de Panama allait suspendre \u00e0 partir d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui, samedi 25 juillet, une partie du syst\u00e8me de r\u00e9servation qui permet \u00e0 certains navires d\u2019emprunter la voie d\u2019eau pour relier les oc\u00e9ans Pacifique et Atlantique&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-348210' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote note-digits-1'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2026\/07\/25\/le-canal-de-panama-prochain-goulot-detranglement-perturbe-apres-le-detroit-dormuz-et-de-bab-el-mandeb\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-348210' \u00e9cluses Panamax, par lesquelles transitent les plus petits navires (vraquiers, porte-conteneurs de taille moyenne) seront concern\u00e9es.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La mesure devrait conduire \u00e0 une r\u00e9duction de la capacit\u00e9 quotidienne de r\u00e9servation, qui passera de 36 \u00e0 34 navires, soit une baisse de capacit\u00e9 de 5,6&#160;%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les capacit\u00e9s de transit par les \u00e9cluses N\u00e9o Panamax, capables d\u2019accueillir de plus grands gabarits, dont des m\u00e9thaniers et des p\u00e9troliers, ne seront pas affect\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/0UoRw\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette mesure, motiv\u00e9e par la baisse des niveaux d\u2019eau observ\u00e9e dans le lac de Gat\u00fan, dont les eaux contribuent \u00e0 alimenter les \u00e9cluses du canal, intervient alors que le commerce maritime mondial est perturb\u00e9 par les attaques men\u00e9es par l\u2019Iran dans le d\u00e9troit d\u2019Ormuz et, depuis quelques jours, par les <a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2026\/07\/21\/la-guerre-des-detroits-setend-les-houthis-annoncent-bloquer-les-ports-saoudiens-de-la-mer-rouge\/\">Houthis<\/a> en mer Rouge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette semaine, plusieurs navires ont ainsi fait demi-tour pour \u00e9viter de passer par le d\u00e9troit de Bab-el-Mandeb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne climatique <a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2026\/03\/20\/lannee-2026-va-t-elle-etre-marquee-par-le-retour-dun-super-el-nino\/\">El Ni\u00f1o<\/a>, qui pourrait \u00eatre cette ann\u00e9e le plus fort jamais observ\u00e9 depuis 75 ans, selon le Centre de pr\u00e9vision climatique am\u00e9ricain, ass\u00e8che les eaux du lac de Gat\u00fan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En 2023-2024, lors de la derni\u00e8re ann\u00e9e marqu\u00e9e par un El Ni\u00f1o cat\u00e9goris\u00e9 comme \u00ab&#160;fort&#160;\u00bb par l&rsquo;Agence am\u00e9ricaine d&rsquo;observation oc\u00e9anique et atmosph\u00e9rique (NOAA), le nombre de transits quotidiens avait r\u00e9duit \u00e0 seulement 18, contre 35 en moyenne.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le trafic s\u2019\u00e9tait ainsi contract\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s de 31&#160;% entre le pic de d\u00e9cembre 2022 (1 523 navires au cours du mois) et f\u00e9vrier 2024 (1 054 navires)&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-2-348210' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote note-digits-1'><a Les perturbations caus\u00e9es par les conflits au Moyen-Orient, ainsi que la hausse des exportations \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques am\u00e9ricaines, lui conf\u00e8rent toutefois d\u00e9sormais une place plus importante dans le commerce maritime \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, notamment de GNL et de GPL&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-3-348210'
