L\u2019ind\u00e9pendant (ancien de l\u2019ENS) qui a gagn\u00e9 contre l\u2019extr\u00eame droite en Roumanie"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2025\/05\/05\/qui-est-nicusor-dan-le-maire-liberal-de-bucarest-ancien-de-lecole-normale-superieure-sera-confronte-au-second-tour-a-george-simion\/\">\u00ab&#160;La Roumanie honn\u00eate&#160;\u00bb<\/a>, le slogan de Nicu\u0219or Dan dans cette campagne pr\u00e9sidentielle, r\u00e9sume une strat\u00e9gie politique fond\u00e9e sur un engagement de long terme contre un syst\u00e8me gangren\u00e9 par la corruption.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2g\u00e9 de 55 ans, ce math\u00e9maticien s\u2019est form\u00e9 en France \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole normale sup\u00e9rieure et \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 Paris XIII, o\u00f9 il obtient son doctorat. Parlant le fran\u00e7ais et l&rsquo;anglais, il se pr\u00e9sente \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle de 2025 en ind\u00e9pendant, avec un positionnement clairement pro-europ\u00e9en et r\u00e9formiste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Double m\u00e9daill\u00e9 d\u2019or aux Olympiades internationales de math\u00e9matiques, docteur en math\u00e9matiques fondamentales, Dan fonde \u00e0 son retour en Roumanie une \u00e9cole d\u2019\u00e9lite inspir\u00e9e du mod\u00e8le de l\u2019ENS.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En parall\u00e8le, il s\u2019engage contre les abus urbanistiques \u00e0 Bucarest. \u00c0 partir de 2006, son association <em>Salva\u021bi Bucure\u0219tiul<\/em> (Sauvez Bucarest) multiplie les recours juridiques contre les projets ill\u00e9gaux. Cette lutte le propulse sur la sc\u00e8ne publique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En 2012, il se pr\u00e9sente \u00e0 la mairie de Bucarest sans parti ni moyens, soutenu seulement par des b\u00e9n\u00e9voles et une campagne tr\u00e8s active en ligne. Il surprend en arrivant troisi\u00e8me.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En 2015, il lance l\u2019Union Sauvez Bucarest (USB), qui deviendra le parti national USR (Union Sauvez la Roumanie). Il gagne la mairie en 2020, puis \u00e0 nouveau en 2024 avec un discours centr\u00e9 sur la transparence, la lutte contre la corruption et la r\u00e9forme de l\u2019administration locale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Refusant les d\u00e9bats identitaires, il quitte l\u2019USR en 2017, plidant pour que le parti ne prenne pas position sur la r\u00e9vision constitutionnelle visant \u00e0 interdire le mariage homosexuel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Il d\u00e9nonce le risque d\u2019un d\u00e9bat d\u00e9tourn\u00e9 par les conservateurs pour faire oublier les vrais enjeux&#160;: la corruption, la justice, la comp\u00e9tence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Il se pr\u00e9sente \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidentielle apr\u00e8s l\u2019annulation du premier tour de novembre 2024 avec un programme ax\u00e9 sur la modernisation de la Roumanie, tout en consolidant son ancrage occidental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dan est fermement pro-europ\u00e9en, pro-OTAN et favorable \u00e0 la continuation du soutien de l\u2019Ukraine par la Roumaine.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Il critique l&rsquo;ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 du pr\u00e9sident Trump \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de Poutine mais d\u00e9fend le partenariat avec Washington&#160;: \u00ab&#160;La Roumanie doit poursuivre son partenariat strat\u00e9gique avec les \u00c9tats-Unis et le consolider, ce qui signifie notamment qu&rsquo;il faut que de nombreuses entreprises am\u00e9ricaines s&rsquo;y installent et que les \u00e9changes commerciaux s&rsquo;intensifient. La Roumanie doit \u00e9galement rester membre de l&rsquo;OTAN et, au sein de cette organisation, adopter la m\u00eame position que les autres \u00c9tats, y compris en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9penses militaires, car il semble y avoir une diff\u00e9rence philosophique \u00e0 ce sujet&#160;: la paix s&rsquo;obtient en d\u00e9courageant la guerre.&#160;\u00bb<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dan a notamment propos\u00e9 de porter les d\u00e9penses de d\u00e9fense de 2,5&#160;% \u00e0 3,5&#160;% d\u2019ici 2030 et d\u00e9sire que le pays participe pleinement \u00e0 toutes les initiatives europ\u00e9ennes en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9fense.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Son \u00e9lectorat est jeune, urbain, dipl\u00f4m\u00e9, concentr\u00e9 \u00e0 Bucarest et dans les grandes villes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie aussi du soutien de la diaspora nord-am\u00e9ricaine. Mais dans les zones rurales et dans la diaspora d\u2019Europe de l\u2019Ouest, il est devanc\u00e9 par George Simion.
