Selon l\u2019Agence internationale de l\u2019\u00c9nergie (AIE), en 2016 l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 la source d\u2019\u00e9nergie dont le d\u00e9veloppement a \u00e9t\u00e9 le plus rapide, comptant pour les deux tiers des nouvelles capacit\u00e9s de production ajout\u00e9es, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la quantit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9nergie qui peut \u00eatre produite chaque ann\u00e9e (<strong>1<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors que la plupart des pays se sont engag\u00e9s dans la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, notamment dans le cadre des Accords de Paris sur le climat, tous ne choisissent pas les m\u00eames secteurs des \u00e9nergies renouvelables. La Chine appara\u00eet ainsi comme le plus grand producteur d\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire au monde apr\u00e8s avoir augment\u00e9 son niveau de production de 34 gigawatt en 2016, soit deux fois plus que les \u00c9tats-Unis o\u00f9 le secteur est pourtant en pleine expansion (<strong>1<\/strong>). Malgr\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9lection d\u2019un pr\u00e9sident climatosceptique, les Etats f\u00e9d\u00e9r\u00e9s et les entreprises continuent d\u2019investir dans les \u00e9nergies renouvelables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Chine abrite par exemple la plus grande ferme solaire au monde (Longyangxia Dam Solar Park), capable d\u2019alimenter 200 000 foyers, ainsi qu\u2019une gigantesque usine solaire flottante situ\u00e9e \u00e0 Huainan, dans la Province Anhui. Dans l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne, o\u00f9 le solaire permet d\u2019alimenter environ 20 millions de foyers, l\u2019Allemagne produit environ un tiers de l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire, suivie par l\u2019Italie, le Royaume-Uni, et la France, qui chaque ann\u00e9e augmentent leur capacit\u00e9 de production (<strong>2<\/strong>). Un r\u00e9cent rapport de l\u2019Agence de l\u2019Energie Renouvelable (IRENA) montre cependant qu\u2019en 2017, l\u2019Inde a ajout\u00e9 plus de capacit\u00e9 de production d\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire que l\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Nord, l\u2019Europe ou le Japon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019Inde a augment\u00e9 de 8 fois sa capacit\u00e9 de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire entre 2014 et 2018, remplissant quatre ann\u00e9es en avance des objectifs qui \u00e9taient fix\u00e9s \u00e0 2022 (20 gigawatts). En Inde, l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire appara\u00eet comme une ressource tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandue et dont les faibles co\u00fbts de production (18&#160;% moins \u00e9lev\u00e9s que le charbon) permettent \u00e0 l\u2019industrie indienne d\u2019afficher une rentabilit\u00e9 bien meilleure que les entreprises europ\u00e9ennes dont la croissance a \u00e9t\u00e9 ralentie par la baisse du prix des \u00e9nergies renouvelables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Perspectives&#160;:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Le gouvernement indien ambitionne de garantir un acc\u00e8s \u00e9lectrique pour tous et de mani\u00e8re constante (\u201c24\u00d77 Power for All\u201d) d\u2019ici 2022 et d\u2019augmenter la part des \u00e9nergies non-fossiles dans le mix \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/li><li>L\u2019Inde vise un objectif de capacit\u00e9 de production de 175 gigawatts d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie renouvelable d\u2019ici 2022, dont 100 gigawatts devront \u00eatre
