Celui-ci doit permettre de passer du charbon et du p\u00e9trole vers le renouvelable tout en assurant une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en termes d\u2019approvisionnements. Dans l\u2019Union, l\u2019arr\u00eat quasi-total de la livraison de gaz russe par gazoduc a conduit \u00e0 une augmentation de 40&#160;% des importations de GNL entre janvier et juillet par rapport \u00e0 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le GNL produit 40&#160;% de dioxyde de carbone de moins que le charbon et 30&#160;% de moins que le p\u00e9trole, ce qui en fait le combustible fossile le plus \u00ab&#160;vert&#160;\u00bb&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-206932' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2023\/11\/03\/lorsquil-est-exporte-le-gnl-serait-bien-plus-polluant-que-le-charbon\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-206932' title='&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/www.nationalgrid.com\/stories\/energy-explained\/what-is-liquefied-natural-gas-lng&quot;&gt;What is liquefied natural gas&amp;#160;?&lt;\/a&gt;, National Grid.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lorsque le gaz naturel est condens\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat liquide \u2014 et devient ainsi du GNL \u2014, il occupe 600 fois moins de volume qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat gazeux, ce qui permet d\u2019en transporter par grande quantit\u00e9 via des m\u00e9thaniers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le GNL est compos\u00e9 essentiellement de m\u00e9thane et n\u2019\u00e9met pratiquement pas de dioxyde de soufre et de mercure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/Ct3W2\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Bien que beaucoup moins pr\u00e9sent que le dioxyde de carbone, le m\u00e9thane a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 17,3&#160;% de l\u2019effet de serre anthropique en 2016.
