Dans un communiqu\u00e9, le Conseil national pour la sauvegarde de la patrie a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 qu\u2019un \u00ab&#160;pr\u00e9d\u00e9ploiement pour la pr\u00e9paration de l\u2019intervention [avait] \u00e9t\u00e9 engag\u00e9 dans deux pays d\u2019Afrique centrale&#160;\u00bb et que \u00ab&#160;tout \u00c9tat impliqu\u00e9 [serait] consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme cobellig\u00e9rant&#160;\u00bb. Vendredi, lors de la d\u00e9finition des contours d\u2019une possible intervention militaire, les arm\u00e9es du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et de la C\u00f4te d&rsquo;Ivoire se sont dites pr\u00eates \u00e0 y participer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/5rENU\/ \" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le risque d\u2019un embrasement de la r\u00e9gion grandit.<strong> <\/strong>Alors que le Nigeria est central dans toute possible intervention militaire, disposant de la principale arm\u00e9e de la CEDEAO et partageant une fronti\u00e8re de 1 500 km avec le Niger, le S\u00e9nat du pays a appel\u00e9 samedi \u00e0 la poursuite des canaux diplomatiques plut\u00f4t qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019action militaire. Le pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie a quant \u00e0 lui d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que toute intervention serait \u00ab&#160;une menace directe&#160;\u00bb pour son pays. Le Mali et le Burkina Faso, tous deux dirig\u00e9s par des juntes, ont conjointement sign\u00e9 un communiqu\u00e9 publi\u00e9 lundi avertissant que \u00ab&#160;toute intervention militaire contre le Niger s\u2019assimilerait \u00e0 une d\u00e9claration de guerre&#160;\u00bb contre les deux pays&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-193319' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2023\/08\/07\/la-guerre-setendra-t-elle-au-niger\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-193319' title='&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/twitter.com\/Colonel_Maiga\/status\/1686113108643717120\/photo\/1&quot;&gt;Communiqu\u00e9 conjoint N\u00b0001 du Burkina Faso et de la R\u00e9publique du Mali&lt;\/a&gt;, X (Twitter), 31 juillet 2023'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Abdourahamane Tiani s&rsquo;est proclam\u00e9 nouveau dirigeant du pays le 28 juillet, deux jours apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;arrestation de Bazoum par la garde pr\u00e9sidentielle. Le 30 juillet, la CEDEAO a ferm\u00e9 les fronti\u00e8res avec le Niger.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le Niger est un alli\u00e9 cl\u00e9 dans la lutte contre les groupes djihadistes au Sahel. Si le coup d&rsquo;\u00c9tat r\u00e9ussit, les pays dirig\u00e9s par des militaires vont s&rsquo;\u00e9tendre de l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an Atlantique \u00e0 la mer Rouge. Ils sont beaucoup plus enclins \u00e0 collaborer avec la Russie par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire du groupe Wagner qu\u2019avec les pays occidentaux.
