La France a accueilli \u00e0 Paris le 6 avril la conf\u00e9rence \u00e9conomique pour le d\u00e9veloppement du Liban par les r\u00e9formes et avec les entreprises (CEDRE) en vue de soutenir l\u2019\u00e9conomie libanaise. Craignant une faillite, le Liban a fait appel \u00e0 l\u2019aide des pays europ\u00e9ens qui ont affirm\u00e9 leur soutien au pays de l\u2019est de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Liban a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 obtenir plus de 11 milliards de dollars de pr\u00eats concessionnels et de dons internationaux, la  communaut\u00e9 internationale ayant annonc\u00e9 son engagement \u00e0 aider le pays endett\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9organiser ses infrastructures et \u00e0 renforcer son \u00e9conomie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le 13 avril, les ambassadeurs europ\u00e9ens \u00e0 Beyrouth ont visit\u00e9 le Comit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique et social pour \u00e9valuer les d\u00e9cisions prises \u00e0 Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si les politiciens libanais se sont f\u00e9licit\u00e9s pour cette \u00ab&#160;r\u00e9ussite&#160;\u00bb, les \u00e9conomistes libanais ainsi que les activistes qui luttent contre la corruption ont exprim\u00e9 leur m\u00e9contentement et ont consid\u00e9r\u00e9 que cette nouvelle dette ne pourrait qu\u2019aggraver la situation \u00e9conomique d\u00e9j\u00e0 compliqu\u00e9e, en bl\u00e2mant les politiciens pour les diff\u00e9rents probl\u00e8mes que conna\u00eet le pays.
