Contrairement \u00e0 l\u2019op\u00e9ration Barkhane \u2014 qui s\u2019est termin\u00e9e au d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2022 \u2014, les forces stationn\u00e9es \u00e0 Ouagadougou ont pour r\u00f4le d&rsquo;appuyer des op\u00e9rations ponctuelles au Sahel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis 2015 au moins, la moiti\u00e9 nord du Burkina Faso subit des attaques de groupes jihadistes li\u00e9s \u00e0 Al-Qa\u00efda et \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00c9tat islamique. Ces derniers ont fait des milliers de morts et provoqu\u00e9 le d\u00e9placement de deux millions de personnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dans ce contexte, le 30 septembre dernier le capitaine Ibrahim Traor\u00e9 prenait le pouvoir par coup d\u2019\u00c9tat apr\u00e8s avoir annonc\u00e9 la d\u00e9mission de son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur, Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba, per\u00e7u comme \u00ab&#160;trop faible&#160;\u00bb pour faire face \u00e0 la mont\u00e9e de l\u2019ins\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depuis, Traor\u00e9 a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 une \u00ab&#160;guerre&#160;\u00bb aux terroristes qui s\u00e9vissent au Burkina, d\u00e9claration qu\u2019il a r\u00e9it\u00e9r\u00e9e r\u00e9cemment \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de son discours de nouvel an&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-175453' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2023\/01\/26\/le-retrait-francais-du-burkina-faso\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-175453' title='Daouda Zongo, \u00ab&amp;#160;&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/www.wakatsera.com\/lutte-anti-terroriste-la-tactique-a-deja-change-capitaine-ibrahim-traore\/&quot;&gt;Lutte anti-terroriste&amp;#160;: \u00ab&amp;#160;La tactique a d\u00e9j\u00e0 chang\u00e9&amp;#160;\u00bb (Capitaine Ibrahim Traor\u00e9)&lt;\/a&gt;&amp;#160;\u00bb, &lt;em&gt;WakatS\u00e9ra&lt;\/em&gt;, 31 d\u00e9cembre 2022.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/1JL7N\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La volont\u00e9 affich\u00e9e par Traor\u00e9 de mettre fin \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence terroriste au Burkina Faso n\u2019est pas en rupture avec la position de ses pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs mais se manifeste de mani\u00e8re beaucoup plus v\u00e9h\u00e9mente, notamment contre la pr\u00e9sence fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Depuis plusieurs mois, des milliers de manifestants r\u00e9clament le d\u00e9part de l\u2019ambassadeur fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 Ouagadougou et ont tent\u00e9 d\u2019incendier l\u2019ambassade d\u00e9but octobre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ceux-ci consid\u00e8rent que la France, malgr\u00e9 sa pr\u00e9sence militaire dans le pays, n\u2019en fait \u00ab&#160;pas assez&#160;\u00bb contre les attaques terroristes&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-2-175453' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2023\/01\/26\/le-retrait-francais-du-burkina-faso\/#easy-footnote-bottom-2-175453' title='\u00ab&amp;#160;&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/apanews.net\/en\/news\/french-army-contingent-told-to-leave-burkina-faso&quot;&gt;French army contingent told to leave Burkina Faso&lt;\/a&gt;&amp;#160;\u00bb, &lt;em&gt;Agence de Presse Africaine&lt;\/em&gt;, 22 janvier 2023.'><sup>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>L\u2019accord intergouvernemental de d\u00e9fense, sign\u00e9 en 2018 entre les deux pays, est particuli\u00e8rement point\u00e9 du doigt par la junte de Traor\u00e9. Celui-ci permet \u00ab&#160;la conduite d\u2019op\u00e9rations conjointes entre Barkhane et les forces arm\u00e9es burkinab\u00e8&#160;\u00bb, lorsque les autorit\u00e9s locales en font la demande&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-3-175453' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2023\/01\/26\/le-retrait-francais-du-burkina-faso\/#easy-footnote-bottom-3-175453' title='&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/www.diplomatie.gouv.fr\/fr\/dossiers-pays\/burkina-faso\/relations-bilaterales\/&quot;&gt;Relations bilat\u00e9rales&amp;#160;: Burkina Faso&lt;\/a&gt;, Minist\u00e8re fran\u00e7ais de l\u2019Europe et des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res.'><sup>3<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour faire face \u00e0 la menace terroriste, la junte burkinab\u00e8 aurait pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 avoir recours \u00e0 la milice russe Wagner. En d\u00e9cembre, le pr\u00e9sident du Ghana voisin, Nana Akufo-Addo, d\u00e9non\u00e7ait un arrangement entre le groupe paramilitaire et le Burkina.
