Apr\u00e8s s\u2019\u00eatre tenue pour la premi\u00e8re fois de son histoire en Russie lors de la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente \u00e9dition en 2018 \u2014 dont l\u2019\u00e9quipe nationale est exclue de la prochaine comp\u00e9tition \u2014, le Qatar deviendra en novembre le premier pays du Moyen-Orient \u00e0 accueillir la Coupe du monde, ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 par les juges contre toute attente aux \u00c9tats-Unis, \u00e0 la Cor\u00e9e du Sud et au Japon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/Uggvk\/1\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La principale nouveaut\u00e9 de cette \u00e9dition est la saisonnalit\u00e9, qui impose que la comp\u00e9tition se d\u00e9roule \u00e0 l\u2019automne plut\u00f4t qu\u2019en \u00e9t\u00e9 en raison des fortes temp\u00e9ratures. Cet ajustement n\u2019emp\u00eachera toutefois pas la Coupe du monde au Qatar de constituer un d\u00e9sastre \u00e9cologique. L\u2019\u00e9nergie (produite \u00e0 99&#160;% \u00e0 partir de sources fossiles au Qatar) qui sera utilis\u00e9e pour abaisser la temp\u00e9rature dans les stades ainsi que le d\u00e9montage ou la destruction de certaines infrastructures apr\u00e8s la comp\u00e9tition contribueront \u00e9galement \u00e0 l\u2019impact \u00e9cologique de cette \u00e9dition. Parmi ces travailleurs d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9s sur les chantiers, tous viennent de pays asiatiques&#160;: Inde, N\u00e9pal, Bangladesh, Pakistan ou Sri Lanka.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/0U9Yx\/1\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>En compilant les donn\u00e9es recueillies par les ambassades \u00e9trang\u00e8res au Qatar, l\u2019enqu\u00eate a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les causes de ces d\u00e9c\u00e8s \u00e9taient majoritairement d\u00e9clar\u00e9es comme \u00e9tant \u00ab&#160;naturelles&#160;\u00bb, les accidents du travail ainsi que les conditions de vie de ces travailleurs immigr\u00e9s repr\u00e9senteraient une part bien plus faible.
