\u00dcr\u00fcmqi<\/em>. Le Pr\u00e9sident de la r\u00e9gion autonome du Xinjiang, Shohrat Zakir, a affirm\u00e9 que les camps d\u2019internements des Ou\u00efghours, fermement d\u00e9nonc\u00e9s par le Comit\u00e9 des Nations unis pour l\u2019\u00e9limination de la discrimination raciale, \u00e9taient en v\u00e9rit\u00e9 des centres de \u201cformation professionnelle\u201d. Selon Zakir, P\u00e9kin pr\u00e9tend y am\u00e9liorer les comp\u00e9tences professionnelles et linguistiques de cette minorit\u00e9 turcophone, afin de faciliter leur insertion dans le march\u00e9 du travail chinois (1<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Xinjiang est soumis \u00e0 des mesures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 drastiques, comme en atteste l\u2019omnipr\u00e9sence de cam\u00e9ras de surveillance, de nombreux pr\u00e9l\u00e8vements ADN ou encore l\u2019installation obligatoire de puces GPS dans les voitures (3<\/strong>). Tous ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments soulignent les efforts du gouvernement pour contenir la propagation de l\u2019islamisme radical et des sentiments s\u00e9paratistes. Shohrat Zakir affirme que ces mesures ont pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment permis de s\u00e9curiser et stabiliser la r\u00e9gion. Il assure \u00e9galement que les \u201cstagiaires\u201d sont trait\u00e9s avec respect et humanit\u00e9. N\u00e9anmoins, de nombreuses ONG r\u00e9v\u00e8lent une tout autre r\u00e9alit\u00e9, o\u00f9 les d\u00e9tenus subiraient un lavage de cerveau, les obligeant \u00e0 abandonner leurs convictions religieuses (2<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mis en place par les autorit\u00e9s chinoises plusieurs mois auparavant, ce programme d\u2019internement a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019objet de nombreuses critiques de la part de l\u2019Occident. Les \u00c9tats-Unis et l\u2019Union ont tous deux d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 cette campagne de r\u00e9pression. Apr\u00e8s en avoir ni\u00e9 l\u2019existence, la Chine a donc chang\u00e9 de position et d\u00e9fend \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent ses centres de formation professionnelle. Par ailleurs, le m\u00e9dia Global Times, proche de la ligne \u00e9ditoriale de l\u2019agence nationale Chine nouvelle, accuse l\u2019Occident de vouloir \u201csacrifier la stabilit\u00e9 du Xinjiang et la vie de centaines de milliers de chinois pour une seule victoire g\u00e9opolitique sur la Chine\u201d (3<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
