Toyota et Uber ont annonc\u00e9 lundi vouloir joindre leurs forces pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le  d\u00e9veloppement de voitures autonomes. Le constructeur automobile japonais envisagerait d\u2019investir 500 millions de dollars dans l\u2019entreprise technologique am\u00e9ricaine (<strong>3<\/strong>).\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uber  avait connu des rebondissements dramatiques lors de ses premiers essais de voitures autonomes, dont ont d\u00e9coul\u00e9 des pertes colossales \u2013 891 millions de dollars au second trimestre 2018 (<strong>3<\/strong>). L\u2019entreprise avait repris les tests depuis un mois en collaboration avec Volvo \u2013 la synchronisation entre ce partenariat et l\u2019investissement de Toyota demeure encore inconnu. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, l\u2019entreprise nippone a \u00e9galement d\u00e9clar\u00e9 vouloir proposer des voitures autonomes \u00e9lectriques d\u00e8s 2020, mais sans inclure Uber dans ce d\u00e9veloppement. L\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les deux entreprises est donc de rattraper le retard qu\u2019elles ont en commun sur le march\u00e9 d\u2019avenir et hautement comp\u00e9titif que repr\u00e9sentent les voitures autonomes. Selon une \u00e9tude du cabinet de conseil en strat\u00e9gie AT Kearney, ce secteur devrait peser 560 milliards de dollars entre 2030 et 2035, soit 17 pour cent du march\u00e9 automobile mondial (<strong>1<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En parall\u00e8le, l\u2019enjeu est aussi de contrer l\u2019avance qu\u2019ont prise les g\u00e9ants du num\u00e9rique tels que Google ou Baidu sur les constructeurs automobiles. Selon UBS, Google devrait d\u00e9tenir 60 pour cent du march\u00e9 mondial de la voiture autonome \u2013 sauf en Chine o\u00f9 Baidu serait majoritaire \u2013 en 2030 (<strong>2<\/strong>). Au niveau europ\u00e9en, seul Renault Nissan est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme concurrentiel en la mati\u00e8re. La seule possibilit\u00e9 pour les autres entreprises de r\u00e9ellement exploiter cette manne \u00e0 l\u2019avenir r\u00e9side dans l\u2019ampleur du march\u00e9 qui pourrait permettre une large place \u00e0 tous les acteurs. Mais l\u2019avantage demeurera hors du continent europ\u00e9en dans les prochaines d\u00e9cennies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Perspectives&#160;:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul
