Les deux derni\u00e8res parties seront publi\u00e9es avant octobre 2022. Alors que le premier chapitre du rapport s\u2019int\u00e9ressait \u00e0 l\u2019augmentation des temp\u00e9ratures dans diff\u00e9rents sc\u00e9narios et au r\u00f4le de l\u2019activit\u00e9 humaine sur le syst\u00e8me climatique, le deuxi\u00e8me se concentre sur les effets du changement climatique (les s\u00e9cheresses, les inondations et les hausses de temp\u00e9rature) et sur la mani\u00e8re dont l&rsquo;humanit\u00e9 peut s&rsquo;y adapter. R\u00e9dig\u00e9 par 270 chercheurs originaires de 67 pays, le rapport est \u00ab&#160;un atlas de la souffrance humaine et une accusation accablante de l&rsquo;\u00e9chec du <em>leadership<\/em> climatique&#160;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Ant\u00f3nio Guterres, secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Nations unies.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-large  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/w5oAV\/2\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Selon les auteurs du rapport, l\u2019humanit\u00e9 ne pourra pas s\u2019adapter assez vite aux ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes extr\u00eames. Ils d\u00e9montrent que le changement climatique g\u00e9n\u00e8re des impacts et des risques sur la nature (innondations, temp\u00eates, temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eames&#8230;) qui d\u00e9passent la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019adaptation de l\u2019homme et des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes. Mais la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 de ces derniers n\u2019est pas uniforme. Elle varie en fonction de situations socio-\u00e9conomiques, de l\u2019utilisation non durable des terres et de sch\u00e9mas d\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9 persistants. De plus, la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 des humains \u00e9tant li\u00e9e \u00e0 celle des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes, plus ces derniers seront boulevers\u00e9s, plus l&rsquo;humanit\u00e9 aura du mal \u00e0 s\u2019adapter aux cons\u00e9quences du r\u00e9chauffement climatique.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Le r\u00e9chauffement climatique affecte le bien-\u00eatre des populations, les villes et les infrastructures. Des p\u00e9nuries d\u2019eau et des probl\u00e8mes dans la production alimentaire sont aussi envisag\u00e9s par le GIEC. 3,3 \u00e0 3,6 milliards d\u2019individus, soit la moiti\u00e9 de la population mondiale sont menac\u00e9s par le r\u00e9chauffement climatique.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>L\u2019impact sur le bien \u00eatre des populations (maladies infectieuses, canicule, sant\u00e9 mentale, d\u00e9placements de population) devrait \u00eatre tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8rement accentu\u00e9&nbsp;en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, en Antarctique, en Asie et en Afrique. L\u2019Europe devrait aussi conna\u00eetre des canicules en mer M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e avec un fort impact sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire. L\u2019impact sur les zones d\u2019habitation et les infrastructures (inondations \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des terres, inondations et temp\u00eates sur les zones c\u00f4ti\u00e8res), sera tr\u00e8s fort dans l\u2019ensemble des r\u00e9gions du monde, notamment&nbsp;en Antarctique, dans les petites \u00eeles comme les Seychelles, les r\u00e9gions montagneuses, les villes c\u00f4ti\u00e8res, l\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Nord et l\u2019Asie australe.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Selon le GIEC, ces futurs d\u00e9g\u00e2ts sont irr\u00e9versibles, mais \u00ab&#160;des actions \u00e0 court terme qui limiteraient le r\u00e9chauffement plan\u00e9taire \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 1,5\u00b0C permettraient de r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement les pertes et dommages, par rapport \u00e0 des niveaux de r\u00e9chauffement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s&#160;\u00bb.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>L&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;adaptation pour r\u00e9duire les risques climatiques est document\u00e9e pour des contextes sp\u00e9cifiques mais elle diminuera avec l&rsquo;augmentation du r\u00e9chauffement climatique. Si les limites des capacit\u00e9s de l&rsquo;adaptation humaine sont atteintes, elles peuvent \u00eatre surmont\u00e9es en s&rsquo;attaquant \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie de contraintes, principalement financi\u00e8res, de gouvernance, de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et d&rsquo;environnement. Le GIEC appelle ainsi les gouvernements \u00e0 \u00ab&#160;agir en faveur d&rsquo;un d\u00e9veloppement r\u00e9silient \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle mondiale&#160;\u00bb car \u00ab&#160;des r\u00e9ponses globales, efficaces et innovantes peuvent exploiter les synergies et r\u00e9duire les compromis entre l&rsquo;adaptation et l&rsquo;att\u00e9nuation pour faire progresser le d\u00e9veloppement durable&#160;\u00bb. Le GIEC recommande notamment de planifier l&rsquo;urbanisation croissante&#160;: \u00ab&#160;la tendance mondiale \u00e0 l&rsquo;urbanisation offre \u00e9galement une opportunit\u00e9 cruciale \u00e0 court terme pour faire progresser le d\u00e9veloppement durable.
