Cette posture avait \u00e9videmment des raisons sanitaires, mais elle permettait encore une fois de poser la question d\u2019Olivier Roy&#160;: <a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2018\/10\/19\/le-religieux-sauvera-leurope\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">L\u2019Europe est-elle chr\u00e9tienne&#160;?<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-large  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/xOgc4\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Le nombre de d\u00e9c\u00e8s dus au Covid-19 en Europe (incluant la Russie) a officiellement d\u00e9pass\u00e9 1,5 million. Le 23 novembre, l\u2019OMS a affich\u00e9 le chiffre de 700 000 morts suppl\u00e9mentaires d\u2019ici fin f\u00e9vrier si rien n\u2019est fait pour stopper la pand\u00e9mie. Le 4 novembre, l\u2019OMS ne parlait \u00ab&#160;que&#160;\u00bb de 500\u00a0000 morts. Il faut bien s\u00fbr prendre ces chiffres avec pr\u00e9caution dans la mesure o\u00f9 ils n\u2019incluent pas de potentielles restrictions sanitaires prises bient\u00f4t par les \u00c9tats. Notons enfin qu\u2019au contraire du d\u00e9but de l\u2019automne, c\u2019est d\u00e9sormais l\u2019Europe de l\u2019Ouest et du Sud qui fait face \u00e0 une hausse fulgurante des cas de Covid-19, alors que la hausse ralentit en Europe centrale.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Le variant B.1.1.529, identifi\u00e9 par l\u2019Afrique du Sud, a \u00e9t\u00e9 qualifi\u00e9 de \u00ab&#160;pr\u00e9occupant&#160;\u00bb par l\u2019OMS. Si la Commission a appel\u00e9 vendredi \u00e0 interdire les arriv\u00e9es des pays d\u2019Afrique australe, le variant est d\u00e9j\u00e0 en Europe.
