Le feu a commenc\u00e9 au bout de ma rue et s&rsquo;est rapidement propag\u00e9. L&rsquo;un des membres du conseil d&rsquo;administration, qui est \u00e9galement membre du Conseil [municipal], m&rsquo;a appel\u00e9 et m&rsquo;a demand\u00e9 o\u00f9 j&rsquo;\u00e9tais. Je lui ai r\u00e9pondu que j&rsquo;\u00e9tais \u00e0 la maison. Il m&rsquo;a dit que je devais partir imm\u00e9diatement car le feu se propageait rapidement. \u00ab&#160;Pouvez-vous aller \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole et mettre en place un poste de rassemblement&#160;? Quelques personnes sont arriv\u00e9es et m&rsquo;ont aid\u00e9e. Puis deux d&rsquo;entre nous sont entr\u00e9s et ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer des sandwiches au saumon pour tout le monde. On nous a ensuite dit que nous devions partir car le feu passait sous le pont et montait dans les montagnes&#160;! Nous sommes tous au centre r\u00e9cr\u00e9atif en attendant de voir ce qui va se passer. Certains membres sont all\u00e9s \u00e0 Kamloops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C&rsquo;est tellement d\u00e9vastateur \u2013 nous sommes tous sous le choc&#160;! Les membres de notre communaut\u00e9 ont tout perdu. Je crois savoir que notre bureau a disparu&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-112851' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/2021\/07\/02\/lincendie-de-lytton-un-temoignage-depuis-le-guernica-de-lanthropocene\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-112851' title='Edith Loring-Kuhanga fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au bureau de la communaut\u00e9 Premi\u00e8res Nations, tr\u00e8s repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans la r\u00e9gion de Lytton'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>&#160;! J&rsquo;ai fait une interview \u00e0 midi aujourd&rsquo;hui avec la radio CBC sur la chaleur qu&rsquo;il fait \u00e0 Lytton et sur le fait que c&rsquo;est le r\u00e9sultat de la crise climatique. Ils m&rsquo;ont appel\u00e9 et m&rsquo;ont interview\u00e9 ce soir et j&rsquo;ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 pleurer. L&rsquo;un de nos \u00e9l\u00e8ves de troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e m&rsquo;a vue pleurer et s&rsquo;est approch\u00e9 et m&rsquo;a dit&#160;: \u00ab&#160;\u00c7a va aller, Edith&#160;!
