I am not a Europeanist nor a globalist. I believe in the strong identity of each people, I believe in the history and ambition of our people. I cannot stress enough that Europe is what accompanies and protects the people. I want to turn the page of a Europe of extreme neo-liberalism, but also to avoid the page of a Europe of nationalisms. Europe is our good protection. Still, it must be rethought and rebuilt.&#160;\u00bb<br>&#8211; French President Emmanuel Macron, Sep. 30, 2018<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is nationalism compatible with the European project&#160;? Are we right to oppose them&#160;? And what is a \u201cEurope of nationalisms\u201d in the first place&#160;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Grand Continent already raised these questions in a 2017 piece, published in the midst of the French presidential election but which has lost none of its
