Le Grand Continent est partenaire de la troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition de la journ\u00e9e Pierre Hassner \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole normale sup\u00e9rieure, consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 \u00ab l\u2019\u00e9preuve de la paix \u00bb, et \u00e0 sa conf\u00e9rence conclusive, \u00ab Le retour de la guerre comme hypoth\u00e8se strat\u00e9gique \u00bb, qui sera prononc\u00e9e par Camille Grand, secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’ASD Europe, ancien secr\u00e9taire de g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l’OTAN. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019introduction \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence sera prononc\u00e9e par Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Worms<\/a>, directeur de l\u2019\u00c9cole normale sup\u00e9rieure, et Luis Vassy<\/a>, directeur de Sciences Po Paris. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compte-tenu d’une actualit\u00e9 qui nous rappelle chaque jour l’exigence d’en prendre la mesure<\/a>, la conf\u00e9rence Pierre Hassner et le colloque qui la pr\u00e9c\u00e8de<\/a> seront consacr\u00e9s cette ann\u00e9e \u00e0 \u00ab l’\u00e9preuve de la paix \u00bb dans le monde d’aujourd’hui. Cela ne nous interdira pas de solliciter quelques-unes des grandes voix du si\u00e8cle dernier qui, au fil des conflits, nous ont appris \u00e0 la penser. Celles-l\u00e0 nous aideront \u00e0 comprendre combien \u00ab l’\u00e9preuve \u00bb doit s’entendre ici en un double sens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il s’agit tout d’abord d’analyser les conditions requises pour que la paix soit juste, pour qu’elle ne consiste pas, autrement dit, \u00e0 ent\u00e9riner un rapport de forces, au m\u00e9pris des r\u00e8gles du droit international. Parler \u00ab d’\u00e9preuve \u00bb, c’est cependant r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e9galement aux obstacles qu’il faut surmonter pour qu’une telle consid\u00e9ration s’impose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les conf\u00e9rences Pierre Hassner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lanc\u00e9es en janvier 2024, \u00e0 l\u2019occasion d\u2019un colloque organis\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00c9cole normale sup\u00e9rieure pour rendre hommage \u00e0 la pens\u00e9e et \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre de Pierre Hassner<\/a>, les conf\u00e9rences Pierre Hassner proposent chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e0 leur invit\u00e9 ou invit\u00e9e d\u2019analyser les grandes crises contemporaines, de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 la fois personnelle et engag\u00e9e, r\u00e9flexive et th\u00e9orique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
