Puisque m\u00eame les commentateurs les plus inform\u00e9s ne sauraient dire \u00e0 quel r\u00e9sultat aboutiront les semaines \u00e0 venir, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de consacrer ce mercredi du Grand continent au Brexit !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y a t il une conflictualit\u00e9 historique et in\u00e9vitable entre le Royaume-Uni et l’Union europ\u00e9enne ? La plupart des journaux fran\u00e7ais analysent le vote de la semaine derni\u00e8re comme une volont\u00e9 d’aller \u00ab au combat \u00bb avec Bruxelles – et pourtant, le Royaume-Uni est encore un membre de l’Union europ\u00e9enne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quelle attitude l’Union europ\u00e9enne devrait-elle d\u00e9sormais adopter vis-\u00e0-vis du Royaume-Uni ? Face aux divisions actuelles des Britanniques, pensez-vous qu’il faille faciliter le Brexit, ou bien le rendre encore plus compliqu\u00e9, pour pousser les d\u00e9put\u00e9s britanniques \u00e0 lancer un second r\u00e9f\u00e9rendum, ou bien dissuader les autres pays de toute vell\u00e9it\u00e9 de sortie de l’UE ? En somme, l’UE triomphera-t-elle par la douceur ou bien par la s\u00e9v\u00e9rit\u00e9 ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enfin, que signifie le Brexit pour notre mod\u00e8le de d\u00e9mocratie, issue historiquement, en grande partie, du mod\u00e8le britannique ? Nous voyons que ni la population tout enti\u00e8re par le r\u00e9f\u00e9rendum, ni les parlementaires rompus \u00e0 l’exercice de la n\u00e9gociation, ne parviennent \u00e0 une position stable sur une question aussi essentielle. Est-ce la d\u00e9mocratie qui ne parvient plus \u00e0 des r\u00e9sultats, ou bien l’UE, qui, par le tissage m\u00e9ticuleux et discret de liens \u00e9conomiques, douaniers et juridiques, par l’harmonisation administrative, a rendu toute v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9cision d\u00e9mocratique caduque, frustrante, et surtout impossible ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
