La Revue Pr\u00e9mices <\/a>et le Groupe d’\u00c9tudes G\u00e9opolitiques<\/a>, ont le plaisir de vous convier le mercredi 13 mars, \u00e0 l’occasion d’un cycle de r\u00e9flexion sur la construction europ\u00e9enne et l’\u00c9tat social, \u00e0 un \u00e9change avec Xavier Ragot, \u00e9conomiste, pr\u00e9sident de l’OFCE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous aborderons la question de la r\u00e9forme des institutions europ\u00e9ennes face aux limites des politiques \u00e9conomiques inspir\u00e9es du n\u00e9olib\u00e9ralisme constructiviste. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pr\u00e9sentation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le s\u00e9minaire se propose d\u2019envisager au travers des sciences sociales dans leur ensemble les cons\u00e9quences de la construction europ\u00e9enne sur l\u2019\u00c9tat social tel qu\u2019il s\u2019est construit en Europe depuis plus d\u2019un si\u00e8cle en les confrontant aux probl\u00e9matiques sp\u00e9cifiques li\u00e9es \u00e0 la mondialisation (libre- \u00e9change, mise en concurrence des syst\u00e8mes sociaux, crise environnementale).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019objectif de ces travaux sera de se prononcer sur la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019apporter une r\u00e9ponse au niveau europ\u00e9en \u00e0 la crise sociale, politique et environnementale suscit\u00e9e par la mondialisation.
L\u2019enjeu du s\u00e9minaire sera ainsi de lever les difficult\u00e9s li\u00e9es aux ambigu\u00eft\u00e9s propres \u00e0 la notion d\u2019Europe sociale en posant la question de savoir dans quelle mesure les limites de la construction europ\u00e9enne peuvent s\u2019expliquer par la substitution du paradigme de la libre concurrence et du crit\u00e8re de l\u2019utilit\u00e9 marginale \u00e0 celui de l\u2019\u00c9tat social et du crit\u00e8re de justice qui s\u2019y attache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On interrogera donc la pertinence du socialisme \u2013 entendu dans sa d\u00e9finition th\u00e9orique comme conception sociale du politique \u2013 \u00e0 r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette exigence \u00e0 partir d\u2019une conception sociologique de l\u2019Europe. Les travaux du s\u00e9minaire prendront ainsi pour base la conception sociologique de l\u2019\u00c9tat, notamment dans sa tradition durkheimienne, la th\u00e9orie de la r\u00e9gulation en \u00e9conomie et celle du droit social.
