del gasto mundial en defensa pas\u00f3 del 16,8% en 2022 al 21,4% el a\u00f1o pasado, lo que supone un aumento de 4,5 puntos en tres a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Al mismo tiempo, la cuota de Am\u00e9rica del Norte se redujo del 42,2% en 2022 al 36,1% el a\u00f1o pasado, una regi\u00f3n dominada en un 97% por Estados Unidos, seg\u00fan el SIPRI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La cuota de Asia tambi\u00e9n se redujo en 2,4 puntos entre 2022 y 2025, pasando del 24,2% al 21,7% del total mundial, mientras que la de Rusia y los pa\u00edses euroasi\u00e1ticos aument\u00f3 en casi 4 puntos, hasta alcanzar el 9,2%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Por su parte, las cuotas de las dem\u00e1s regiones principales \u2014Oriente Medio, Am\u00e9rica Latina y \u00c1frica\u2014 se mantuvieron relativamente estables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/akLe4\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>El aumento de los presupuestos de defensa de los pa\u00edses europeos, as\u00ed como la revisi\u00f3n de las normas presupuestarias de la Uni\u00f3n, que ahora permiten a los Estados miembros superar los l\u00edmites de d\u00e9ficit si los pr\u00e9stamos adicionales se utilizan para financiar la defensa, han contribuido a un considerable aumento del 63% del gasto militar europeo entre 2022 y 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>El IISS destaca que Alemania ha representado una parte importante del aumento del gasto regional.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Berl\u00edn se ha fijado el objetivo de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2026\/02\/13\/friedrich-merz-quiere-convertir-a-la-bundeswehr-en-el-ejercito-mas-poderoso-de-europa-x\/\">dedicar el 3,5% de su PIB a la defensa para 2029<\/a>, frente a menos del 1,5% en 2022, seg\u00fan cifras de la OTAN.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/zLlkh\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el informe del IISS, Europa es la regi\u00f3n que m\u00e1s ha invertido en aumentar su capacidad militar desde el inicio de la invasi\u00f3n rusa de Ucrania en 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>En t\u00e9rminos reales, el gasto ruso en defensa s\u00f3lo aument\u00f3 un 3% el a\u00f1o pasado, mientras que en 2024 hab\u00eda experimentado un aumento interanual de casi el 57%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Si la din\u00e1mica se mantiene, Europa podr\u00eda superar a Asia en t\u00e9rminos de gasto militar ya en
