Tras dos mandatos de cinco a\u00f1os, el presidente saliente, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa (PSD, PPE), no puede presentarse a la reelecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once candidatos compiten por sucederle, cinco de los cuales podr\u00edan acercarse o superar el 15% de los votos: Lu\u00eds Marques Mendes (PSD, PPE), Ant\u00f3nio Jos\u00e9 Seguro (PS, S&amp;D), Andr\u00e9 Ventura (Chega, PfE), Jo\u00e3o Cotrim Figueiredo (IL, Renew) y Henrique Gouveia e Melo (independiente).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/v6IsV\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hay dos candidatos favoritos para la segunda vuelta: por un lado, Ant\u00f3nio Jos\u00e9 Seguro, antiguo secretario general del PS y cercano al antiguo primer ministro Ant\u00f3nio Guterres, de quien fue el n\u00famero dos hace veinticinco a\u00f1os, y por otro, Andr\u00e9 Ventura, l\u00edder de la formaci\u00f3n de extrema derecha Chega.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La llegada de Ventura a la segunda vuelta \u2014una primicia desde la restauraci\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica\u2014 ser\u00eda coherente con la vasalizaci\u00f3n preconizada en la nueva Estrategia de Seguridad Nacional estadounidense.
