De las 33 megal\u00f3polis que habr\u00e1 en el mundo en 2025, 19 se encuentran en Asia, 5 en Am\u00e9rica Latina, 4 en \u00c1frica y 2 en Am\u00e9rica del Norte. En Europa, Londres es la \u00fanica ciudad que supera este umbral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Si bien el envejecimiento de la poblaci\u00f3n deber\u00eda conducir a<a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2024\/07\/12\/mas-de-la-mitad-de-los-paises-europeos-ya-han-alcanzado-su-pico-de-poblacion\/\"> una disminuci\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n total en la mayor\u00eda de los pa\u00edses europeos de aqu\u00ed a 2050<\/a>, no se prev\u00e9 que las generaciones j\u00f3venes emigren masivamente a las ciudades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En Francia, uno de los 44 pa\u00edses del mundo en los que la vida en zonas poco pobladas seguir\u00e1 siendo el modo de vida m\u00e1s habitual en 2050 (36 % de la poblaci\u00f3n, frente al 35 % en las ciudades), la poblaci\u00f3n rural deber\u00eda mantenerse relativamente estable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As\u00ed, se prev\u00e9 que 24,5 millones de personas vivan en pueblos y zonas rurales dispersas en 2050, frente a los 25 millones actuales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/fv4x8\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>El mantenimiento de una poblaci\u00f3n rural importante desempe\u00f1a un papel fundamental en varios sectores econ\u00f3micos, entre ellos la agricultura, pero tambi\u00e9n el turismo, la industria o la energ\u00eda.
