Cuanto m\u00e1s rico sea un pa\u00eds, m\u00e1s CO2 emitir\u00e1. Esto se debe a que la energ\u00eda necesaria para la producci\u00f3n suele proceder de la quema de combustibles f\u00f3siles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/sugsi\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sin embargo, desde los a\u00f1os 1990 y el desarrollo de la energ\u00eda nuclear, muchos pa\u00edses han reducido sus emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero al tiempo que han aumentado su PIB. El ritmo de esta transici\u00f3n se ha acelerado, marcado por el cambio de las industrias intensivas en carbono a los servicios y de los combustibles f\u00f3siles a la energ\u00eda verde, cuya producci\u00f3n es cada vez m\u00e1s barata.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/CwrzB\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Esta relaci\u00f3n entre el crecimiento y las emisiones de CO2 ya no es exacta para los pa\u00edses de renta alta. Muchos pa\u00edses del Sur, como Ecuador, Uruguay y Tailandia, han conseguido crecer econ\u00f3micamente al tiempo que reduc\u00edan sus emisiones de CO2, lo que hace esperar que la desvinculaci\u00f3n se generalice en el futuro&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-8340' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2022\/09\/28\/estan-siempre-correlacionados-el-crecimiento-economico-y-las-emisiones-de-co2\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-8340' title='John Burn-Murdoch, \u00ab\u00a0&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/967e1d77-8d3c-4256-9339-6ea7025cd5d3&quot;&gt;Economics may take us to net zero all on its own&lt;\/a&gt;\u00a0\u00bb,\u00a0&lt;em&gt;The Financial Times&lt;\/em&gt;, 23 de septiembre de 2022.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/mqISl\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sin embargo, ser\u00eda un error pensar que esta estabilizaci\u00f3n de las emisiones en los pa\u00edses ricos se ha conseguido \u00fanicamente trasladando la producci\u00f3n al extranjero, es decir, trasladando las emisiones de CO2 a econom\u00edas manufactureras como China e India. Gracias a la energ\u00eda verde, los pa\u00edses desarrollados, principales inversores en energ\u00eda verde, pueden acompa\u00f1ar su crecimiento econ\u00f3mico sin las antes inevitables emisiones de CO2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/bw5Fr\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sin embargo, hay que matizar esta correlaci\u00f3n porque las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero siguen aumentando cada a\u00f1o, y son m\u00e1s altas hoy que en 1990. Aunque la promesa del crecimiento verde es esperanzadora, no hay que descartar la realidad de la correlaci\u00f3n entre el PIB y las emisiones de CO2 per c\u00e1pita.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/oOqsL\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>En 2018, el PIB per c\u00e1pita en Estados Unidos fue de 55.335 d\u00f3lares de media para 16,43 toneladas de CO2 per c\u00e1pita. Para tomar la comparaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s extrema, el PIB per c\u00e1pita de la Rep\u00fablica Centroafricana fue de 623 d\u00f3lares per c\u00e1pita en el mismo a\u00f1o, y una emisi\u00f3n media de CO2 per c\u00e1pita de s\u00f3lo 0,05 toneladas.
