Aunque el clima no debe confundirse con el tiempo, el IPCC advirti\u00f3 en agosto de 2021 que estas olas de calor extremas ser\u00edan m\u00e1s frecuentes en el futuro debido al calentamiento global.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>El pasado mes de abril, India y Pakist\u00e1n sufrieron olas de calor extremas, con temperaturas superficiales que alcanzaron los 49\u00b0C en algunas ciudades indias. La semana pasada, <a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2022\/06\/21\/india-y-bangladesh-afectados-por-fenomenos-meteorologicos-extremos\/\">la India volvi\u00f3 a verse afectada por fen\u00f3menos meteorol\u00f3gicos extremos<\/a> -esta vez inundaciones causadas por fuertes lluvias-, as\u00ed como la provincia de Assam, en Bangladesh.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-large  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/R4zPZ\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Si bien estos d\u00edas de calor inusual est\u00e1n afectando a la vida en la superficie de la Tierra, tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n teniendo un impacto terrible en los mares y oc\u00e9anos. En las aguas que rodean las Islas Baleares, frente a la costa este de Espa\u00f1a, se han registrado temperaturas de 29\u00b0C. Al alterar la circulaci\u00f3n del agua, las olas de calor marinas interrumpen la migraci\u00f3n y la reproducci\u00f3n de las especies, contribuyen a la decoloraci\u00f3n de los corales y reducen la capacidad de los oc\u00e9anos para absorber el calor y el di\u00f3xido de carbono.
