En aquella \u00e9poca, Jap\u00f3n representaba el 17,75% del PIB mundial, frente al 3,77% actual.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/BUiwu\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos de paridad de poder adquisitivo, el declive de Europa forma parte de una tendencia m\u00e1s larga que se remonta al menos a la d\u00e9cada de 1980. Al eliminar el peso que la fortaleza del d\u00f3lar otorga al PIB estadounidense, Estados Unidos sigue una trayectoria similar a la de la Uni\u00f3n Europea.
