La principal petici\u00f3n de Sud\u00e1frica se refer\u00eda a la indicaci\u00f3n de medidas provisionales respecto a Israel, como ocurri\u00f3, por ejemplo, en relaci\u00f3n con la invasi\u00f3n rusa de Ucrania, cuando la Corte orden\u00f3 la suspensi\u00f3n inmediata de las operaciones militares de Rusia el 16 de marzo de 2022&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-28795' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2024\/01\/26\/denuncia-de-genocidio-en-gaza-la-corte-internacional-de-justicia-emite-su-decision\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-28795' title='Corte Internacional de Justicia,&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/www.icj-cij.org\/sites\/default\/files\/case-related\/182\/182-20220316-PRE-01-00-FR.pdf&quot;&gt;Comunicado de prensa del 16 de marzo de 2022&lt;\/a&gt;.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>El Tribunal indic\u00f3 medidas provisionales. En concreto, pidi\u00f3 a Israel que \u00abadopte todas las medidas a su alcance para impedir la comisi\u00f3n de todos los actos comprendidos en el \u00e1mbito de aplicaci\u00f3n del art\u00edculo 2\u00bb de la Convenci\u00f3n sobre el Genocidio (15 votos a favor y 2 en contra); garantice el acceso a la ayuda humanitaria y a los servicios b\u00e1sicos en la Franja de Gaza (16 votos a favor y 1 en contra).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Israel debe presentar un informe sobre todas las medidas adoptadas en el plazo de un mes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sin embargo, el Tribunal no accedi\u00f3 a la petici\u00f3n de Sud\u00e1frica&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-2-28795' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2024\/01\/26\/denuncia-de-genocidio-en-gaza-la-corte-internacional-de-justicia-emite-su-decision\/#easy-footnote-bottom-2-28795' title='Corte Internacional de Justicia,&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/www.icj-cij.org\/sites\/default\/files\/case-related\/192\/192-20231228-app-01-00-en.pdf&quot;&gt;Application instituting proceedings and request for the indication of provisional measures&lt;\/a&gt;, 29 de diciembre de 2023.'><sup>2<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span> de que Israel suspendiera sus operaciones militares en la Franja de Gaza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>86 pa\u00edses, entre ellos dos organizaciones internacionales, la Liga \u00c1rabe y la Organizaci\u00f3n de Cooperaci\u00f3n Isl\u00e1mica, hab\u00edan declarado su apoyo al procedimiento de Sud\u00e1frica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-large  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/QH6bm\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La Uni\u00f3n Europea no se ha pronunciado sobre la cuesti\u00f3n, y s\u00f3lo una minor\u00eda de Estados miembros lo hizo antes de la decisi\u00f3n de hoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Austria y la Rep\u00fablica Checa, los dos \u00fanicos pa\u00edses de la Uni\u00f3n que <a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2023\/12\/13\/mapa-exclusivo-la-postura-a-favor-de-un-alto-el-fuego-en-la-franja-de-gaza-gana-terreno-en-la-asamblea-general-de-la-onu\/\">votaron en contra de la resoluci\u00f3n de la Asamblea General de la ONU<\/a> del 12 de diciembre en la que se ped\u00eda un alto el fuego en Gaza, votaron en contra del procedimiento (17 Estados miembros votaron a favor, 8 se abstuvieron).
