Aunque este foro es el principal para debatir la protecci\u00f3n y preservaci\u00f3n de la selva amaz\u00f3nica, la cumbre de Bel\u00e9m es la primera que se celebra desde 2009, y s\u00f3lo la cuarta desde la creaci\u00f3n de la organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/QKarc\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La cuenca del Amazonas, que abarca casi toda la superficie de la selva amaz\u00f3nica, se extiende por los territorios de nueve Estados. S\u00f3lo Francia, cuyo territorio est\u00e1 cubierto por el 1% de la selva ecuatorial -en la Guayana Francesa-, no es miembro de la OTCA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sin embargo, Par\u00eds estuvo representado en la cumbre por su embajadora en Brasil, Brigitte Collet, junto a otros grandes contribuyentes financieros a la preservaci\u00f3n de la Amazonia, como Alemania y Noruega.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mientras que s\u00f3lo el presidente de Surinam, Ronald Venetiaan, asisti\u00f3 personalmente a la anterior cumbre en 2009 junto a Lula, los presidentes de Bolivia, Colombia, Per\u00fa y Brasil estuvieron presentes en Bel\u00e9m este a\u00f1o.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/QwW5h\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La declaraci\u00f3n conjunta de la cumbre, publicada el martes 8 de agosto, reclama la \u00abgarant\u00eda de los derechos de los pueblos ind\u00edgenas, comunidades locales y tradicionales\u00bb y reconoce los \u00abprocesos de definici\u00f3n, delimitaci\u00f3n o demarcaci\u00f3n y titulaci\u00f3n de sus territorios y tierras\u00bb como \u00abcondiciones esenciales para la conservaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad\u00bb&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-21026' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2023\/08\/09\/a-los-estados-sudamericanos-les-cuesta-adoptar-una-postura-comun-para-proteger-la-selva-amazonica\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-21026' title='&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/www.gov.br\/mre\/pt-br\/canais_atendimento\/imprensa\/notas-a-imprensa\/declaracao-presidencial-por-ocasiao-da-cupula-da-amazonia-2013-iv-reuniao-de-presidentes-dos-estados-partes-no-tratado-de-cooperacao-amazonica&quot;&gt;Declara\u00e7\u00e3o Presidencial por ocasi\u00e3o da C\u00fapula da Amaz\u00f4nia \u2013 IV Reuni\u00e3o de Presidentes dos Estados Partes no Tratado de Coopera\u00e7\u00e3o Amaz\u00f4nica&lt;\/a&gt;, Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Brasil, 8 de agosto de 2023.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span>.
