de julio, la agencia mar\u00edtima Norton Lilly anunci\u00f3 que la Autoridad del Canal de Panam\u00e1 suspender\u00eda a partir de hoy, s\u00e1bado 25 de julio, una parte del sistema de reservas que permite a determinados buques utilizar la v\u00eda navegable para conectar los oc\u00e9anos Pac\u00edfico y Atl\u00e1ntico.&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-105920' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote note-digits-1'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2026\/07\/25\/el-canal-de-panama-proximo-cuello-de-botella\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-105920' title='&lt;a transitan los buques m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os (buques graneleros y portacontenedores de tama\u00f1o medio).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Se prev\u00e9 que esta medida suponga una reducci\u00f3n de la capacidad diaria de reserva, que pasar\u00e1 de 36 a 34 buques, lo que supone una disminuci\u00f3n de la capacidad del 5,6 %.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La capacidad de tr\u00e1nsito por las esclusas Neo-Panamax, que pueden acoger buques de mayores dimensiones, incluidos los metaneros y los petroleros, no se ver\u00e1 afectada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta medida, motivada por la bajada del nivel del agua observada en el lago de Gat\u00fan \u2014cuyas aguas contribuyen a alimentar las esclusas del canal\u2014, se produce en un momento en que el comercio mar\u00edtimo mundial se ve afectado por los ataques perpetrados por Ir\u00e1n en el estrecho de Ormuz y, desde hace unos d\u00edas, por los <a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2026\/07\/21\/la-guerra-de-estrechos-se-extiende-los-huties-anuncian-bloquear-puertos-sauditas\/\">hut\u00edes<\/a> en el mar Rojo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta semana, varios buques han dado media vuelta para evitar pasar por el estrecho de Bab el Mandeb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>El fen\u00f3meno clim\u00e1tico <a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2026\/03\/20\/se-caracterizara-el-ano-2026-por-el-regreso-de-un-super-el-nino\/\">El Ni\u00f1o<\/a>, que seg\u00fan el Centro de Predicci\u00f3n Clim\u00e1tica de Estados Unidos podr\u00eda ser este a\u00f1o el m\u00e1s intenso registrado en los \u00faltimos 75 a\u00f1os, est\u00e1 provocando la disminuci\u00f3n del nivel de las aguas del lago de Gat\u00fan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>En 2023-2024, durante el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o marcado por un fen\u00f3meno de El Ni\u00f1o calificado como \u00abfuerte\u00bb por la Agencia Nacional de Observaci\u00f3n Oce\u00e1nica y Atmosf\u00e9rica de Estados Unidos (NOAA), el n\u00famero de tr\u00e1nsitos diarios se hab\u00eda reducido a solo 18, frente a una media de 35.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As\u00ed, el tr\u00e1fico se hab\u00eda reducido en casi un 31 % entre el m\u00e1ximo registrado en diciembre de 2022 (1.523 buques a lo largo del mes) y febrero de 2024 (1.054 buques).&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-2-105920' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote note-digits-1'><a
