{"id":104791,"date":"2026-07-10T16:39:53","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T14:39:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/?p=104791"},"modified":"2026-07-10T18:37:02","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T16:37:02","slug":"por-que-la-energia-nuclear-esta-de-moda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2026\/07\/10\/por-que-la-energia-nuclear-esta-de-moda\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 vuelve a estar de moda la energ\u00eda nuclear?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Se prev\u00e9 que la capacidad de generaci\u00f3n de electricidad a partir de energ\u00eda nuclear aumente un 44 % durante la pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada, pasando de 372 gigavatios (GW) de capacidad total instalada en todo el mundo en 2025 a 535 GW en 2036, seg\u00fan un informe publicado el mi\u00e9rcoles 8 de julio por BloombergNEF.&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-1-104791' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote note-digits-1'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2026\/07\/10\/por-que-la-energia-nuclear-esta-de-moda\/#easy-footnote-bottom-1-104791' title='Will Wade, \u00ab&lt;a href=&quot;https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-07-08\/nuclear-power-to-climb-44-worldwide-as-china-tops-us-bnef-says&quot;&gt;Nuclear Power to Climb 44% Worldwide as China Tops US, BNEF Says&lt;\/a&gt;\u00bb, &lt;em&gt;Bloomberg&lt;\/em&gt;, 8 de julio de 2026.'><sup>1<\/sup><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Se prev\u00e9 que China represente una parte importante de este crecimiento: el pa\u00eds cuenta con 59 GW de capacidad en construcci\u00f3n y se espera que alcance los 102 GW de aqu\u00ed a 2030.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>De este modo, Pek\u00edn podr\u00eda superar a Estados Unidos y convertirse en la potencia con mayor capacidad nuclear del mundo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Otros pa\u00edses, como la India, Egipto, Turqu\u00eda y Rusia, tambi\u00e9n tienen varios reactores en construcci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/HvHVl\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La producci\u00f3n nuclear mundial hab\u00eda experimentado un descenso tras la cat\u00e1strofe de Fukushima, en 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alemania, tras haber cerrado 8 de sus reactores en 2011, ha ido cerrando progresivamente los 9 reactores restantes entre 2012 y 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Por su parte, el gobierno japon\u00e9s hab\u00eda anunciado su intenci\u00f3n de poner fin al uso de la energ\u00eda nuclear para la producci\u00f3n de electricidad \u00abde aqu\u00ed a la d\u00e9cada de 2030\u00bb.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ante la crisis en los mercados energ\u00e9ticos provocada por la invasi\u00f3n de Ucrania, el exprimer ministro Fumio Kishida hab\u00eda anunciado, sin embargo, a finales de 2022 una serie de medidas destinadas a reactivar la industria nuclear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras una d\u00e9cada de estancamiento, la energ\u00eda nuclear se considera ahora una fuente de energ\u00eda capaz de satisfacer la creciente demanda de electricidad libre de carbono, que se prev\u00e9 que siga aumentando en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os debido a la electrificaci\u00f3n de los usos y a la construcci\u00f3n de centros de datos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/ZzDDg\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Este cambio de rumbo se traduce tambi\u00e9n en un aumento significativo de las inversiones en reactores modulares peque\u00f1os (SMR), cuya capacidad puede alcanzar los 300 MWe por unidad, lo que supone un tercio de la de los reactores nucleares tradicionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Esta soluci\u00f3n, que ofrece una mayor flexibilidad y cuyo premontaje puede realizarse en f\u00e1brica, resulta especialmente atractiva para las grandes empresas tecnol\u00f3gicas como Microsoft, Amazon y Google, que cuentan con los recursos financieros necesarios para financiar estos proyectos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seg\u00fan la World Nuclear Association, esta tecnolog\u00eda ya est\u00e1 en funcionamiento en China y Rusia, pero actualmente se est\u00e1n construyendo otros dos reactores en Estados Unidos y Argentina, cuya puesta en marcha est\u00e1 prevista para 2027.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>M\u00e1s de diez proyectos se encuentran en fase de preinversi\u00f3n en la Uni\u00f3n, especialmente en Polonia y Suecia. La Comisi\u00f3n dio a conocer en marzo un plan destinado a poner en marcha los primeros reactores modulares europeos a principios de la d\u00e9cada de
