poblaci\u00f3n superior a los 10 millones de habitantes, frente a las cuatro de China), sufre desde hace varias semanas una intensa ola de calor que hace que la temperatura supere regularmente los 40 \u00b0C, especialmente en Nueva Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El cambio clim\u00e1tico constituye una de las amenazas m\u00e1s importantes para la salud de los trabajadores indios y para el crecimiento del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Seg\u00fan un estudio publicado en 2020, la India podr\u00eda convertirse en uno de los primeros pa\u00edses del mundo en sufrir olas de calor que superen el umbral de supervivencia de una persona sana sentada a la sombra.&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-2-102874' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote note-digits-1'><a href='https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2026\/06\/19\/el-aumento-de-temperatura-puede-costar-a-india-45-de-son-pib-hasta-2030\/#easy-footnote-bottom-2-102874' decir, una s\u00e9ptima parte de la poblaci\u00f3n del pa\u00eds) podr\u00edan estar expuestas a un riesgo del 5 % de sufrir una ola de calor mortal, lo que supone una probabilidad acumulada de aproximadamente el 40 % durante la pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Debido al n\u00famero de horas de trabajo perdidas, el crecimiento del pa\u00eds podr\u00eda verse reducido entre un 2,5 % y un 4,5 % del PIB de aqu\u00ed a 2030, lo que supone entre 150.000 y 250.000 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"iframe-container wp-block-image wp-block-image-medium  iframe-dw\">\n\t<div>\n\t\t<iframe class=\"absolute w-full h-full pin-t pin-l\" title=\"titolo\" aria-label=\"Interactive line chart\" src=\"\/\/datawrapper.dwcdn.net\/LSmUO\/\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La econom\u00eda de la India est\u00e1 especialmente expuesta al aumento de las temperaturas debido a la elevada proporci\u00f3n de trabajadores que pasan varias horas al d\u00eda <a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/es\/2026\/06\/02\/india-afectada-por-la-crisis-de-fertilizentes-podria-sufrir-su-peor-monzon-desde-2015\/\">al aire libre<\/a> o en entornos con una climatizaci\u00f3n deficiente.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>En 2024, se habr\u00edan perdido cerca de 250 mil millones de horas de trabajo en la India debido a la exposici\u00f3n al calor, seg\u00fan un estudio de Lancet Countdown on Health and Climate Change, lo que supone m\u00e1s del doble que en la d\u00e9cada de 1990.&nbsp;<span class='whitespace-nowrap'><span id='easy-footnote-3-102874' class='easy-footnote-margin-adjust'><\/span><span class='easy-footnote note-digits-1'><a
