L&#8217;\u00e9v\u00e9nement est d\u00e9sormais complet.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La figure du diplomate est associ\u00e9e de longue date \u00e0 celle de l\u2019\u00e9crivain, du po\u00e8te ou du chroniqueur de son temps : de Fran\u00e7ois-Ren\u00e9 de Chateaubriand \u00e0 Paul Claudel, de Saint-John Perse \u00e0 Romain Gary.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors que le rapport \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9criture, \u00e0 la note diplomatique, \u00e0 la r\u00e9daction de M\u00e9moires a \u00e9t\u00e9 boulevers\u00e9 par le num\u00e9rique et l\u2019augmentation exponentielle des sources de production de textes, quelle signification l\u2019\u00e9criture rev\u00eat-elle aujourd\u2019hui pour un diplomate ?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelles sont les techniques d\u2019\u00e9criture que le diplomate mobilise pour d\u00e9crire les transformations du monde contemporain : le r\u00e9cit factuel, l\u2019analyse, la m\u00e9taphore, la parabole historique, le commentaire d\u2019images, la satire, ou l\u2019anecdote r\u00e9v\u00e9latrice ?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afin de faire \u0153uvre de diplomate, quels sont les mod\u00e8les que l\u2019on peut convoquer et desquels faut-il se d\u00e9marquer ?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comment le diplomate hi\u00e9rarchise-t-il les imp\u00e9ratifs qui dictent la composition de son \u0153uvre, entre la beaut\u00e9, l&#8217;\u00e9motion, la clart\u00e9 d\u2019analyse, et l\u2019agr\u00e9ment du r\u00e9cit ?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En quelle mesure ces choix d\u2019\u00e9criture r\u00e9v\u00e8lent-ils une vision du monde, du r\u00f4le du diplomate entre les puissances en conflit, et des outils \u00e0 construire pour affronter l\u2019avenir ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afin de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces questions, nous avons le plaisir d\u2019organiser un \u00e9v\u00e9nement autour de quatre diplomates qui ont chacun publi\u00e9 un livre ces derniers mois, tous aux \u00c9ditions Tallandier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/p\/gerard-araud\/\">G\u00e9rard Araud<\/a>, ambassadeur de France en Isra\u00ebl (2003-2006) et \u00e0 Washington (2014-2019), repr\u00e9sentant permanent de la France aux Nations Unies (2009-2014), auteur de <em>Le\u00e7ons de diplomatie: La France face au monde qui vient<\/em> (Tallandier, 2025) ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/p\/sylvie-bermann\/\">Sylvie Bermann<\/a>, ambassadeur de France en Chine (2011-2014), au Royaume-Uni (2014-2017) et en Russie (2017-2019), auteure de <em>L&#8217;Ours et le Dragon \u2013 Russie-Chine : Histoire d\u2019une amiti\u00e9 sans limites ? <\/em>(Tallandier, 2025) ;\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legrandcontinent.eu\/fr\/p\/philippe-etienne\/\">Philippe \u00c9tienne<\/a>, ambassadeur de France en Allemagne (2014-2017) et aux \u00c9tats-Unis (2019-2023), conseiller diplomatique du pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique (2017-2019), titulaire de la chaire Diplomatie du Programme d\u2019\u00c9tudes D\u00e9mocratiques de l\u2019\u00c9cole normale sup\u00e9rieure, auteur de <em>Le Sherpa.
